The Vie Ventures Foundation Program Advisory Council is composed of leaders from disease foundations, patient organizations, clinicians, scientists, and nonprofit experts. The Council helps identify cross-disease priorities, advise on grantmaking and convening opportunities, and ensure that Foundation initiatives remain aligned with the needs of patients and the organizations closest to each disease community.

The Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) public charity, governed by its own Board of Trustees, whose fiduciary duty runs to its charitable mission and the patients it serves. That founding support reflects alignment with the mission, not control of it. Through it, the Foundation draws on deep scientific, clinical, and investment expertise — while its priorities, its grants, and its governance remain its own.
